At Franciscan the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients in our clinics. This role is critical in assisting providers and coworkers in coordinating patient care as well as functions as a liaison between patients, coworkers, and providers.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Sign-On Bonus Available (ask your Talent Acquisition Advisor about eligibility)
• Outpatient Behavioral Health clinic providing psychiatric care, therapy services, and care coordination
• Clinic hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating shifts scheduled within clinic operating hours
• Provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, administering medications, vaccines, and injections, performing phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, starting IVs, assisting with procedures, conducting provider rounds, and completing medication reconciliation
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and internal and external partners through in-person, phone, and electronic communication
• Utilize strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to support providers and patient care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, medications, procedures, treatment plans, and chronic disease management
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medication refill requests to ensure continuity of care
• Foster a compassionate environment by providing emotional support and promoting a positive patient experience

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree Required and
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) -  Required
