We are seeking a strong Restaurant Assistant General Manager-level candidate in the Los Angeles, CA area. Our restaurants have received coast-to-coast recognition for excellence. Assistant General Manager Benefits:

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead all front-of-house floor operations during service, ensuring flawless execution and an elevated guest experience
  • Maintain and enforce fine dining service standards, hospitality excellence, and brand consistency
  • Supervise, coach, and develop managers, captains, servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
  • Partner with the General Manager to achieve financial goals including labor management, sales growth, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Assist with inventory controls, purchasing, and operational systems as needed
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives

Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience in upscale or fine dining environments
  • Minimum 2 years in a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing hospitality teams
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine service, and guest relations
  • Experience managing labor costs, scheduling, and operational budgets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
