Job Summary:

The Junior Maintenance Technician supports the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems and related equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on solar panels, inverters, combiner boxes, and monitoring equipment.
• Help troubleshoot and diagnose basic electrical and mechanical issues.
• Clean and maintain solar panels to ensure optimal system performance.
• Monitor system performance and report abnormalities to supervisors.
• Assist in repairing or replacing defective components and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and inspection documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety protocols.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
