If a CP Client is another client's bedroom, provide physical supervision until they leave and complete an Incident Report.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Check any alarm equipment in use to track movement on every shift. Notify a supervisor immediately of any faulty equipment and complete an Incident Report.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Review and sign Positive Behavior Support Plan monthly.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Follow all recommendations made by Therapists and approved by Program Directors/Managers.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Always maintain physical supervision (arms length) in the community unless the therapist has authorized line-of-sight supervision due to the nature of the outing. Always be prepared to resume physical supervision if necessary due to a safety concern.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Never supervise more than 2 CP Clients at one time in the community without approval from a Program Manager/Director.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Avoid crowded areas where minors or vulnerable persons congregate when working with CP Clients that have a history of offending behavior unless approved in writing by their therapist.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Make sure CP Clients use a single occupancy restroom in the community. If a single occupancy restroom is not available, wait until the restroom is cleared of all children and stay in the restroom until the CP Client is finished. Encourage CP Clients to use a stall rather than urinals. Maintain supervision at all times. </span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Ensures that the daily needs of the participants are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs, including supervision of medication.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Assists participants with regularly accessing the community to take part in a variety of outings of the participants’ choosing. This may require transporting participants or arranging for transportation.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Ensures that participants are treated with dignity and consideration at all times. Promotes and safeguards each participant’s ability to make decisions and to freely exercise his or her rights.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Interacts with participants, provides informal counseling and problem-solves with participants.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Attends staff meetings as required by the House Manager or the Site Supervisor and/or Administrator.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Attends training offered/required by the agency, DDA, and other parties.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Takes part in the development and implementation of the IISP for each participant with whom they work.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Will become Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) at employee’s own expense initially and annually.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must enroll and complete Nurse Delegation study course and take the test within 30 days of employment.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Provides necessary support and supervision of participants.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Maintains professional working relationships with other services providers, the participants’ parents/relatives/guardians and other agency staff. Responsible for timely completion of all documentation, including, but not limited to, the medication log, shift notes, progress notes, data sheets, incident reports, and client financial records.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Performs other duties as assigned by the House Manager or the Site Supervisor and/or the Administrator.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must have a valid driver’s license and car and must be willing to transport clients in own vehicle.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Other duties as assigned. </span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum Qualifications:</span></strong><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must be 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must have a fingerprint and criminal clearance prior to starting.</span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Licensing Requirements:</span></strong><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must pass a Washington State background check</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must have proper credentials per WAC to work in the capacity of a DSP</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• WA Driver License and WA Auto Insurance</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Must be able to obtain an NAR within 90 days of hire. </span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• First Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided)</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Blood Borne Pathogen (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided)</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Need to obtain CPI Blue Card</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Ongoing Eligibility Qualifications:</strong> </span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Complete and pass the background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter, or as requested.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Maintain active NAR, CPR/First Aid, Nurse Delegation and other required certifications.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• Complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.</span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hiring Bonus</span></strong></p><ul><li style="font-family: inter;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: inter; background-color: #ffffff;">We are offering a<strong> $500 hiring bonus</strong> for new employees hired after June 23rd 2026.
