Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Will consider PACU, ICU, telemetry, Cath Lab, or surgery center experience on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details Provides pre- and post-procedure care for Cath Lab patients in the Cardiac Observation Unit. Works with high-risk, high-acuity patients. Bedside procedures include Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversions (CV). Responsibilities include admitting patients; charting pre-procedure checklists, IV starts, and access preparation; recovering post-Cath patients who received conscious sedation; sedating, circulating, and documenting bedside CV and TEE procedures; and discharge teaching, documentation, and physical discharge.

Shift & Scheduling Varies: 3 x 12s days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030). Call now includes Saturday and Sunday on a rotational basis, approximately once every 6 weeks, but may be as frequent as once every 4 weeks. Call includes Saturday 0700-1700 and Sunday 0700-1400.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
