Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years current nursing experience. - Dysrhythmia management. - Experience working on a unit with patients who have had surgery.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 1-2 travel assignments preferred.

Unit Details: - Zayed 11 East orthopedic, GI, spine, trauma, and general surgery unit. - Pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care for orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery patients. - Adult inpatient telemetry unit with multiple levels of care. - Nurse/patient ratio: 1:4-5 (days), 1:5-6 (nights).

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating 7A/7P 12-hour shifts.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
