Vehicle Technician

Our client, an innovative technology company, is seeking a Vehicle Technician (BaseOps) to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Fleet Operations Department supporting the Vehicle Readiness and Engineering Support Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Technician (BaseOps)

Location: Foster City, CA 94404

Pay Range: $46.00 - $54.00 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for testing and operations.
• Configure, set up, and sign off vehicles for safe on-road use.
• Coordinate repair activities and escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams as needed.
• Maintain service records, diagnostic reports, and vehicle documentation.
• Support shop operations, including inventory management, tool organization, and facility upkeep.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 2–4 years of automotive technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, diagnostics, tools, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screening.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
