• 7 days/week hospital coverage ‐‐ call schedule 7 am ‐ 7 am
• ER call coverage required
• 20 patients per physician per day ‐‐ 2 surgeries per day
• 100% hospital‐based caseload ‐‐ no office or clinic visits
• 40% trauma cases ‐‐ adult and pediatric neurosurgery
• General neurosurgery, spinal surgery, VP shunt, tumor cases required
• ICP monitor placement and external traction application required
• Cerebrovascular open procedures and aneurysm clipping preferred
