Registered Nurse (RN) | PACU/Recovery
Job Type: Full-time | Days - M-F with no weekends/holidays
There is some call required after orientation, call is about once every 4-6 weeks.

Department/Unit Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Reports to the Director of Surgery.

What we are looking for:
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Experience: One year previous experience preferred
- Licenses: Active Arkansas or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
- Education: Associate's Degree required. BSN preferred.
