Forklift Operator

Our client, warehouse and distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Operations department supporting Warehouse/Distribution teams. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, reliable attention to detail, and clear communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Ridgeland, SC

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 7AM- 5PM

What's the Job?

• Move palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as an electric pallet jack.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently using MHE in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Follow established warehouse procedures to support accurate, timely material handling.
• Lift up to 75 pounds as needed to complete loading and moving tasks.
• Maintain good reading, writing, and communication skills to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.

What's Needed?

• Familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a light industrial, hands-on role with a focus on safe material handling.
