Full-Time Veterinary Technician - North Houston Veterinary Ophthalmology - Spring, Texas
NHVO is a referral practice located in Spring, TX. At NHVO we understand the bond between clients and their pets. We have board-certified specialists and a staff that share the goal of providing the most advanced and affordable eye care possible.
We are looking for:

- An individual who can communicate tactfully and effectively in stressful or emergent situations
Requirements:
- Must be well-spoken
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, stoop, or bend for long periods of time
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must be able to clearly communicate with clients, doctors, and staff
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Must be able to perform venipuncture
- Must be familiar with specimen collecting for lab submission
- Must be able to handle and restrain animals
- Must be proficient in anesthetic induction, maintenance, and monitoring
- Must have at least 3 years veterinary technician experience
- Must be able to place I.V. catheters efficiently
- Must be familiar with veterinary terminology and anatomy
- Must be able to carry up to 40lbs unassisted
- Must be able to maintain accurate medical records, both written and electronically
Background and reference checks will be done on all candidates.

Salary is competitive for the region and is based on experience, licensure, and the ability to meet the requirements listed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Based on veterinary experience
Schedule:
- 9-hour shift
- Tuesday - Friday
- No Weekends
