Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will actively assist in the planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering therapeutic exercises aimed at restoring strength and mobility, following the established protocols outlined by supervising Physical Therapists.
- Employing advanced modalities such as ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy in treatment sessions to effectively manage pain and enhance recovery.
- Systematically monitoring patients' progression, documenting their responses to treatment, and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Engaging in interdisciplinary communication with Physical Therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient rehabilitation.
- Providing thorough education to patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques to promote self-management and independence.
- Maintaining meticulous documentation in line with clinic standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.

This position predominantly serves a diverse population of patients, including those needing orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and treatment for chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
To be considered for the Physical Therapist Assistant role at PhysioSpace LLC, candidates must have:
- An active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a life science or related field, along with graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Preferred Experience
