Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will actively assist in the planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Administering therapeutic exercises aimed at restoring strength and mobility, following the established protocols outlined by supervising Physical Therapists.
• Employing advanced modalities such as ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy in treatment sessions to effectively manage pain and enhance recovery.
• Systematically monitoring patients' progression, documenting their responses to treatment, and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary communication with Physical Therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Providing thorough education to patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques to promote self-management and independence.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation in line with clinic standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist Assistant role at PhysioSpace LLC, candidates must have:

• An active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
