Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and discussing their symptoms to thoroughly understand their needs.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and crafting individualized treatment plans that effectively address each patient’s unique requirements.
• Educating patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they are equipped to continue their rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
• Implementing hands-on treatments such as manual therapy, stimulation, or massage to promote healing and address pain.
• Assisting patients in using physical therapy equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, and resistance devices, to facilitate mobility.
• Maintaining thorough patient records to track progress, set goals, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options, including exercises and lifestyle modifications that support recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
