The physician will provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and outpatient obstetrical care while working closely with Womens Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadership.With no deliveries, surgeries, inpatient rounding, nights, weekends, or scheduled holiday shifts, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while maintaining a consistent schedule and strong work-life balance.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient womens healthcare, including well-woman examinations, acute visits, reproductive care, and family-planning servicesDeliver evidence-based outpatient obstetrical care to low- and moderate-risk patientsDiagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health conditionsProvide contraception counseling and perform LARC insertion and removalPerform colposcopies, biopsies, and other appropriate in-office gynecologic proceduresProvide perimenopausal and menopausal careOrder, review, and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testingMake appropriate referrals for specialty services, additional testing, treatment, and follow-up careCollaborate with Womens Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadershipMaintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentationComplete billing and clinical tasks in accordance with organizational requirementsParticipate in peer review, quality-improvement initiatives, and accreditation-readiness activitiesProvide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and medical assistantsPractice at multiple outpatient TFHC locations when operationally necessaryComply with HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, HRSA, and TFHC requirementsQualificationsDoctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited OB/GYN residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyActive or eligible Florida medical licenseActive or eligible DEA registrationCurrent Basic Life Support certificationOutpatient OB/GYN experience preferredExperience with Epic or another electronic health record system preferredBilingual English and Spanish skills strongly preferred but not requiredStrong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and patient-education skillsCommitment to providing respectful and compassionate care to diverse patient populationsBenefits and RewardsTFHC offers a comprehensive physician benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, work-life balance, and professional growth:Competitive base salary with productivity incentive opportunitiesMedical and pharmacy coverage with low-cost employee premiumsDental and vision insurance$0 employee copays for eligible care received through TFHCGenerous paid time offSeven paid company holidaysPaid CME days and professional-development supportAnnual licensing stipend401(k) retirement program with employer contribution after one yearCompany-paid FTCA malpractice coverageEmployer-paid basic life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverageEmployee Assistance ProgramVoluntary accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and pet insuranceStudent loan refinancing and financial-wellness resourcesNHSC Student Loan RepaymentTampa Family Health Centers operates National Health Service Corps-approved locations.
