Surgery physician job in New Mexico : Weatherby Healthcare is currently seeking a Surgery Physician in NM

  • Call only -- 12H (7am - 7pm) and 24H (7am - 7am) shifts available
  • 8 - 20 patients per shift; 3 - 5 admissions per 24 hours
  • System-wide EGS call coverage across three hospitals
  • Averaging 92 shifts per month across the system
  • EGS only -- no trauma
  • Required: laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
  • Preferred: chest tube insertion, vascular and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
  • Assignment details and time entry in online portal
