Job Summary


The Maintenance Worker, reporting to the Facilities Manager, is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated manufacturing systems, including PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently through preventive maintenance, scheduled calibrations, and re-qualification activities. Responsibilities include setting up and using specialized equipment to test and calibrate instruments, as well as aligning, repairing, replacing, and balancing mechanical and electrical components. The position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical skills and hands-on experience with electronic assembly, cable work, and the use of mechanical and electrical tools to support production reliability and quality.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm
Hourly rate: $28.50-30/hr. + 1.00 shift premium DOE
What a typical day looks like:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic automated manufacturing systems Including, programmable logic controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and belt and chain drive conveyor systems.
Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment. Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
Demonstrates advanced technical skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals and engineering sketches, and utilize complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments, Electronic Assembly: schematics, mechanical assembly, Cables: crimping, harness assembly, connector/wire soldering, cable prepping and Mechanical & Electrical Tools: power air guns, taps & dies, alignment tools, measuring tools.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
At least two years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read Electrical Schematics for trouble shooting and panel builds
Good with basic computer skills
