Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Treatment Support: Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement customized treatment plans, featuring therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques designed for patient recovery.
  • Monitoring Progress: Observe and document patient responses to treatment comprehensively, adjusting care plans as necessary to align with patient progress and feedback.
  • Patient Education: Empower patients and their families by clearly explaining conditions, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercises to encourage adherence to treatment plans.
  • Documenting Care: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, documenting progress in alignment with legal requirements and organizational guidelines.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain therapeutic equipment to ensure all tools are functioning optimally and hygienically.

  • Administrative Support: As needed, assist with clinic operations including scheduling patient appointments, handling patient intake, and performing various office responsibilities.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
