Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, adhering strictly to best practices and safety standards.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities, ensuring each session is tailored to their unique recovery needs.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, sharing insights with the care team to adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including older adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant license for the state of Virginia (or eligibility for licensure).

• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.

Preferred Experience
