Lead Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

The Charge Nurse Medical-Surgical oversees night-shift patient care on an acute med-surg unit, providing direct nursing care and coordinating the work of the team. This role uses the nursing process for patients with moderate to high acuity, supports evidence-based practice, and helps maintain safety and quality at the point of care. The charge nurse also precepts and supports newer staff while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve strong clinical outcomes.
