Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Prattville, AL (Pine Level)
Pay Range: $30.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and 480V electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret machine schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures while supporting production operations.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and 480V electrical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and read electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
