What You'll Be Doing
- Operate loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load customer trucks and support terminal operations.
- Perform quality control testing and accurately document results to help ensure product specifications are met.
- Manage material stockpiles, inventory movement, and housekeeping throughout the terminal.
- Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report operational issues promptly.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety, productivity, and environmental standards.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregates, construction, industrial, or material handling environment.
- Ability to perform quality control testing, maintain accurate records, and recognize potential product quality issues.
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members.
- Dependable, self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
