On‐call Mon ‐ Fri 5 pm ‐ 7 am; 24‐hr weekend & holiday coverage
Average 10 patients per shift
Hospital‐based general cardiology coverage
Call ratio 3:6 ‐‐ 50 ‐ 75% callback rate
Inpatient cardiology, ICU, and non‐invasive cardiology required
Echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI required
Diagnostic invasive cardiology required ‐‐ no interventional procedures
