We are a family-owned and operated Buick & GMC dealership currently seeking Entry-Level Service Apprentices to train with our Certified Service Technicians. This is a FULL-TIME position providing onâ€'theâ€'job training with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities – Service Tech Apprentice:

LEARN HOW to:

• Perform multi-point inspections and diagnose malfunctions
• Provide estimates of time needed for repairs
• Repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc., following dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions
• Adhere to company regulations and stay updated on recalls and updates
• Report damaged or defective equipment to management
• Report safety issues and maintain a clean working area

Requirements – Service Tech Apprentice:

• Basic automotive maintenance and repair knowledge
• Basic computer skills
• Good work ethic and problemâ€'solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
• Motivated to learn new repair/service procedures
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
