Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient clinic in Woodbridge, VA where you will treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, and sports-related injuries. The clinic operates with one-on-one patient care supported by a rehab aide/tech and uses TheraOffice and Ocupro EMR systems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum one year of clinical experience treating orthopedic, post-operative, general MSK, or sports injuries preferred. (Preferred) Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and one-on-one patient care. Experience using TheraOffice or similar EMR systems preferred. (Preferred) Ability to collaborate with physicians and other disciplines and to communicate effectively with patients and referral sources.
Preferred Qualifications Energetic, communicative clinician comfortable interacting with physicians and patients. Experience working with a rehab aide or tech in clinic flow. (Preferred)
Assignment Details Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Schedule is likely to be adjusted to a modified daily pattern, for example three early days (approx. 7:00 AM–5:00 PM) and one day with an early end and 1-hour lunch, with later start options on other days (examples include 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM). Caseload structured with 30-minute follow-ups and 1-hour new patient evaluations. Clinician will work 1:1 with patients and collaborate with a rehab aide/tech. Clinic uses two EMR systems: TheraOffice and Ocupro.
