ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Neuroendovascular Surgeon (Interventional Neurologist) to provide ongoing locum coverage. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a busy Level I Trauma Center with a well-established stroke program, advanced neurointerventional capabilities, and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Youngstown, Ohio
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based Level I Trauma Center
• Coverage Need: Ongoing, one week per month with the opportunity for recurring assignments
• Schedule: 7-on/7-off , covering 7:00 AM 7:00 PM with shared 24-hour neuroendovascular and stroke call responsibilities
• Patient Volume: Approximately inpatient patients daily , plus new stroke consults and emergent neurointerventional cases
• Procedures:
  • Mechanical thrombectomy
  • Neuroendovascular interventions
  • Emergency stroke evaluation and treatment
  • Comprehensive neuroendovascular call coverage
• Call: 24/7 coverage while on service, including a combination of in-house and beeper call
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Collaborative stroke team within a comprehensive neuroscience program serving multiple regional stroke centers

Qualifications

• Board Certified Interventional Neurologist/Neuroendovascular Surgeon
• Active Ohio medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 2 years of post-training experience
• Clean malpractice and licensing history
