R&D Essential Oils Team Intern

Job Responsibilities:

• Batch oil blends in lab for sample requests, sample submission batches, and formulation
• Submit samples to doTERRA analytical laboratories for physical, chemical and stability testing
• Organize laboratory operations, including recording inventory, ordering supplies, and waste management
• Test solubility and scale-up of unique natural raw materials
• Perform other responsibilities as directed

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in chemistry, food science, nutrition, biology or related field required
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate and write effectively
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in identifying tasks that need to be completed
• Ability to smell and taste essential oils
• Ability to tolerate strong smells for extended periods of time
• Ability to stand and work in lab for multiple consecutive hours
