Full job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Cockeysville and Sparks Glencoe

Pay Range: $18-$18.87, depending on shift

Shifts Available: 1st shift - M-F 6am-4:40pm;
2nd shift M-F 2pm-10:30pm or 4pm-2:30am
Weekend Shift Fri-Sun 5:45pm-6am

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine setup, operation, and minor maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment
  • Control and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect in-process parts to maintain consistent quality and remove defective products
  • Assist with root-cause analysis for process or product issues
  • Document quality, safety, and maintenance activities accurately

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly across departments
  • Strong attention to detail and punctuality to ensure smooth production flow
  • Basic proficiency with PCs and understanding of simple diagrams and charts
  • Willingness to work overtime and rotate into different tasks as needed
