Department: Communications & Marketing
Location: Silliman Hall (hybrid)
Supervisor: Rachel McNeil
Work Available: Business Days (some nights and weekends as agreed upon), 2-3 hours per week.
Rate of pay: Starts at $10.00/hr. Rate of pay will increase with experience in the role.

Union College’s Social Media team is seeking creative and enthusiastic students to be Social Media Interns. In this role, you’ll help showcase campus life by creating engaging content for Union’s official social media channels. You’ll be both in front of the camera and behind it, capturing authentic campus moments.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and pitch creative content ideas that highlight Union’s people, events, and traditions.
Appear on-camera for videos, interviews, and other student-focused features.
Photograph and film campus events, daily life, and special projects.
Edit and format photos, videos, and captions for various platforms.
Collaborate with the Communications team to maintain Union’s brand voice and style.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, comfortable on camera, and have an eye for storytelling and visual detail.
Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and photography/video editing is a plus.
You must be a current Union College student to apply.
