Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Unit Details: - No ECMO duties for this assignment. - Provides airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function testing, arterial punctures, tracheostomy care and tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations and extubations, ventilator setup using specialized modes, patient monitoring, and weaning. - May transport pediatric and neonatal patients from referral hospitals with Carolina Air Care and may perform advanced Air Care procedures including UAC, UVC, IV insertion, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, ABGs, and blood glucose monitoring.
Shift & Scheduling: - On-call 1 weekend per 6 weeks. - 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. - Must be available on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day. - Flexible contract hours: 48 per week available.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
