Full job description

Our client, an industry leader in quality assurance and manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be an essential part of the quality control department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Specialist

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00

Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm / 6:00pm-6:00am

What's the Job?

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform visual and measurement inspection tests using precision measuring equipment
  • Calculate distances, angles, and radius tapers to verify product specifications
  • Input, analyze, and document statistical data utilizing Infinity or other SPC software
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements

What's Needed?

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in quality control or inspection roles
  • Credential requirements: 100046, 100067, 100038
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Availability to work weekends
