Department/Unit Summary
Join our team in a 5-bed Wound Care unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Hyperbaric Chamber Operators, LPNs and CMAs. With a 3:4 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred. Additional requirements include:
- Expectation to obtain BSN within two years.
- Completed a WOCN Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) accredited by the WOCN Society as a standard pathway and/or meet experiential requirements. If not completed, must complete within two years and meet requirements to sit and pass the WOCNCB board certification exam within the same two years.
- BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- 4500 hours (2-3 years) of direct patient experience that encompasses wound, ostomy, and continence care.
