A growing, privately owned restaurant group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its leadership team in Fishers IN. This upscale casual concept combines a strong commitment to hospitality with well-defined systems and operational standards.


We are looking for a hands-on restaurant leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing people, and driving consistent execution. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restaurant manager who wants to continue developing their leadership and business skills with a growing organization.


This position requires 6–8 weeks of paid, out-of-market training. Candidates must be able to commit to the full training period. Housing and travel support will be provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead shifts and support day-to-day restaurant operations in a high-volume environment
  • Maintain strong standards for hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and overall execution
  • Coach, train, and develop hourly team members
  • Provide consistent floor leadership and respond quickly to operational needs
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between front- and back-of-house teams
  • Monitor labor, sales, and other key operating metrics during assigned shifts
  • Support scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost-control processes
  • Identify and resolve guest concerns while maintaining a high standard of hospitality
  • Execute company systems, procedures, and operating standards consistently
  • Help create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Support training and development initiatives across the restaurant

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Recent upscale casual, polished casual, or comparable full-service restaurant experience
  • Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Scratch-kitchen experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of labor management, food cost, inventory, and restaurant financials
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate hourly teams
  • Comfortable working within a structured, systems-oriented operation
  • Strong floor presence and a hands-on leadership style
  • Genuine commitment to hospitality and the guest experience
  • Ability to complete 6–8 weeks of out-of-market training
