Location and Compensation
• Buffalo, NY * Be part of an exciting journey as we prepare for production at our new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP).
• Edwards Genesee location address: 6685 Crosby Rd Basom, NY 14013
• Salary Range: $28.85 - $47.60
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Your role
CNC Machinist II are expected to operate a variety of CNC machines independently, troubleshoot common issues, and contribute to process improvements. This role requires sound judgment, intermediate technical skills, and active engagement in problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently operate HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines with minimal supervision.
• Consistently follow all safety, quality, and SOP requirements.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies or equipment issues.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization (6S) in assigned work areas.
• Provide feedback to engineers and team leads on recurring issues and potential improvements.
• Assist in mentoring and training Tier 1 machinists.
• Accurately interpret blueprints, perform in-process inspections, and make basic offsets or adjustments.
