Data Analyst, Supply Chain Performance & Insights

The Data Analyst plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across ResMed's Global Distribution, Logistics & Trade organization. This role supports stakeholders across ResMed's global supply chain network and partners with teams across multiple regions and geographies.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Performance & Insights team, you will transform complex operational data into actionable insights that improve service, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and support operational excellence across ResMed's global supply chain network.

You will collaborate closely with Distribution, Logistics, Transportation, Trade, Planning, Customer Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to develop dashboards, reporting solutions, performance metrics, and analytical insights that help teams make better business decisions.

This role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys solving business problems, uncovering insights from data, automating manual processes, and working in a highly collaborative global environment.

This is a global role supporting stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones. Candidates must be comfortable collaborating across a globally distributed organization and demonstrate flexibility to participate in occasional early-morning or evening meetings when needed to support regional stakeholders and global business priorities.

What You'll Do

Business Partnership & Insight Generation

• Partner with global supply chain stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Work closely with regional stakeholders to understand operational challenges, business questions and reporting needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of regional supply chain processes, operating models and business priorities.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that help stakeholders make informed operational decisions.
• Participate in regional performance reviews and business discussions, providing analytical support and identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different cultures, geographies and time zones.

Supply Chain Performance & Analytics

• Analyze supply chain performance across areas including distribution, transportation, logistics, inventory and order fulfillment.
• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs such as OTIF, service levels, transportation cost, warehouse productivity, inventory flow, freight utilization, carrier performance, logistics cost and customer experience metrics.
• Identify performance trends, exceptions and emerging operational issues through recurring and ad hoc analysis.
• Conduct structured root-cause analysis to understand operational performance gaps and identify potential improvement opportunities.
• Support regional teams in evaluating operational trade-offs involving cost, service, inventory and capacity.
• Measure the impact of operational improvements and initiatives through KPI tracking and post-implementation analysis.

Data Analysis & Reporting Solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems.
• Build scalable reporting datasets and analytical solutions that support business decision making.
• Automate recurring reports and analytical workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Maintain trusted KPI definitions, reporting standards, and business documentation.
• Support self-service analytics capabilities that enable business users to access timely and reliable information.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate recurring analytical and reporting processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing analysis that identifies process inefficiencies and quantifies improvement opportunities.
• Participate in analytics and digital transformation initiatives across the global supply chain organization.
• Explore new analytical capabilities, tools and technologies that can improve the way supply chain teams’ access and use information.
• Contribute to the team's continued development of self-service, predictive and AI-enabled analytics capabilities.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, supply chain analytics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Demonstrated AI literacy, including the ability to effectively use AI-powered tools to enhance data analysis, reporting, problem solving, productivity, and decision making.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a global, cross-functional environment.
• Willingness and flexibility to support stakeholders across global time zones, including occasional participation in meetings outside traditional local business hours when required.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience within supply chain, logistics, transportation, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, or medical device environments.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar technologies.
• Experience using Python or other analytics programming languages.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Exposure to forecasting, statistical analysis, optimization, or AI-enabled analytics solutions.
• Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple countries, regions, and time zones.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $73,000 - $109,000
