<div> </div> <p>Volt is immediately hiring for <b>Medical</b> <b>Coder II </b>in <b>DUARTE, CA </b></p> <p>As a <b>Medical Coder II </b>you will:</p> <ul> <li>Compiles and keeps medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.</li> <li>Checks medical records for completeness and to abstract and code clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.</li> <li>3-5 years of experience</li> </ul> <p>This is a full-time Contract opportunity.</p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Surgical coder - multispecialty, oncology preferred</li> <li>5+ years experience in multispecialty</li> <li>CPC certification</li> <li>Only codes major surgeries so they are very complex</li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule: 1^st shift</b></p> <p><b>Pay Rate Range: $28 to $30 per hour</b></p> <p> </p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
