Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2310 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have experience with NG placement, foley placement, blood administration, heparin drips, and insulin drips.

Unit Details: - Women’s Care Unit patient population includes hysterectomy, mastectomy, postpartum patients (moms only), and general medical/surgical patients. - RNs titrate drips; common titratable drips are heparin and insulin. - Uses CPAP. - Patients sometimes have a heart monitor, but RNs do not read the strips.

Shift & Scheduling: - Travelers will fill the shifts with the greatest need. - 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. - Holidays will go in core staff rotation. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - May float to other general medical units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
