Job Requirements
The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and collaborative OB/GYN Laborist to join our growing Women's Health team in Glen Burnie, Maryland .

Schedule & FTE
This position is offered at 0.9 FTE (full-time equivalent) with a defined, predictable schedule that supports both clinical coverage needs and work-life balance. Additional shifts may be available based on department needs and candidate interest, subject to operational requirements and mutual agreement.
What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive hospital-based obstetric care, including labor management and delivery coverage
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting
Collaborate closely with physicians, certified nurse midwives, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Perform emergency obstetric procedures as needed
Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care
Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence
What We're Looking For
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Strong interest in hospital-based obstetric practice
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
Experience working with Certified Nurse Midwives is a plus
