Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2820 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Past UPH employees who currently work at or have worked at UPH within the last 12 months as FTE or PRN float pool staff cannot work travel in another market. This does not apply to prior UPH travel employees.

Unit Details: General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays. Common cases include prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy. Heparin drips administered.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units required. May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
