  • Zero malpractice
  • Active ACLS/BLS
  • Current flu vaccine
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Full job description

  • Coverage Need:

    • December - ongoing

    • Starting ASAP

  • Schedule

    • Shifts:

      • Days: 7a-5p, 9a-7p

        • Must be comfortable with 10 hour shifts

      • Nights: 7p-7a (Solo)

  • Clinical Information:

    • # of beds: 60

    • Level 2 Trauma

    • Will be working solo

    • Avg daily census: 14-16

    • Avg # of admits: TBD

    • Procedures required? Yes

      • Lines/Intubations

    • Must be able to provide procedure logs from past 12 months

    • Open ICU at night. Intensivist present during the day, available by phone call at night

    • Must respond to codes

    • Underserved population

  • Required :

    • Active CA License and active/dedicated CA DEA

    • Must be Board Certified in IM/FM

    • Clean background and zero malpractice

    • Active ACLS/BLS and Current Flu vaccine

    • Bilingual Spanish a plus

  • EMR :

    • Meditech
