Full job description

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Clamp Truck Driver to join their team. As a Clamp Truck Driver, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Clamp Truck Driver

Location: Decatur, AL

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Third Shift (Overnight)

What's the Job?

  • Safely operate a clamp truck to move products and materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trailers, railcars, and storage locations efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport sensitive materials using proper clamping techniques to prevent product damage.
  • Stack, organize, and stage inventory according to warehouse and production requirements.
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 10 years of proven clamp truck operating experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid forklift/clamp truck certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Extensive experience handling paper products, appliances, packaged goods, or other clamp-moved materials.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling procedures.
