Lactation Consultant

Carle Health is seeking a Lactation Consultant to provide expert breastfeeding support, education, and care coordination to mothers, infants, and families. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive lactation assessments, develop individualized feeding plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize infant nutrition and maternal health. Responsibilities include bedside coaching, outpatient consultations, documentation in the EHR, participation in quality and safety initiatives, and leading staff and community education.
