Our growing restaurant concept is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen in Portsmouth, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a high-volume, scratch kitchen and enjoys building strong teams, delivering exceptional food!

Chef Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of current full-service, scratch kitchen leadership experience
• Experience with restaurants with $3M+ sales
• Able to diligently follow recipe books
• Hands-on leadership style with a proven ability to develop and motivate culinary teams
• Strong organizational skills
• Commitment to consistency, execution, and operational excellence
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Genuine care and passion for people and the industry

Chef General Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficient execution
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing culinary team
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, inventory, and kitchen organization standards
• Lead by example in a hands-on kitchen environment
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture while maintaining strong operational standards
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience through consistent food quality and service
