<p align="center"><b>**Hiring a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist**</b><br /> Join a legendary Central Coast manufacturer whose products are used by musicians on stages around the world.</p> <p> </p> <p>Volt is immediately hiring for Senior Accounts Payable Specialist <b> </b>in San Luis Obispo, California.</p> <p>As a<b> </b>Senior Accounts Payable Specialist<b> </b>you will:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Process high-volume vendor invoices, including PO, non-PO, and service invoices.</li> <li>Review and verify invoice pricing, quantities, freight charges, taxes, and supporting documentation.</li> <li>Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.</li> <li>Research and resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory Control, and vendors.</li> <li>Code invoices accurately to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers.</li> <li>Prepare weekly payment runs through check, ACH, and wire transfer methods.</li> <li>Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms, payment terms, and contact information.</li> <li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances and past-due issues.</li> <li>Support purchasing and production teams to ensure accurate processing of raw materials, components, and production supply purchases.</li> <li>Track freight, duty, and landed costs where applicable.</li> <li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals for Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI).</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company policies, approval workflows, and internal financial controls.</li> <li>Maintain organized and audit-ready accounts payable records and documentation.</li> <li>Prepare AP aging reports and communicate payment requirements to management.</li> <li>Provide documentation and reporting support for financial audits and internal reporting needs.</li> <li>Partner with finance and cost accounting teams to support inventory valuation and expense tracking.</li> <li>Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall AP performance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a full-time <b>Direct Hire</b> opportunity.</p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate will have: <br /> </p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environment.</li> <li>Strong understanding of three-way matching, purchase orders, receiving processes, and invoice reconciliation.</li> <li>Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Sage, or QuickBooks Enterprise.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.</li> <li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage a high volume of invoices while meeting deadlines.</li> <li>Strong communication, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Experience with manufacturing-related purchasing and inventory transactions preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with cost accounting concepts, freight billing, and sales/use tax regulations preferred.</li> <li>Professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.<br /> </li> </ul> <p><b>Salary:</b> <b><i>$75,000-$80,000 per year</i></b><br /> </p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p><b>Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.</b></p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
