School Social Worker

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $50-$55 per hour

Location: Elementary Charter School, Denver, CO 80249; In Person

Position Summary
RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to support approximately 10 students at an Elementary charter school in Denver, Colorado. The School Social Worker will provide direct and indirect services aligned with students’ IEPs, including push-in and pull-out support, consultation, progress monitoring, documentation, behavioral supports, evaluations, and annual reviews. This is an in-person position anticipated to begin ASAP and continue through October 30, 2026. The position is approximately 19.5 hours per week, with a preference for services concentrated across three full days per week.

Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift

  • Shift details: Approximately 3 full days per week; specific days are flexible based on provider availability and student instructional schedules
  • Hours per week: Approximately 19.5
  • Contract length: ASAP through October 30, 2026

Key Duties

  • Provide approximately 7.8 hours per week of IEP-mandated direct and indirect services through both push-in and pull-out supports.
  • Provide general consultation at approximately 15 minutes per student per week and progress monitoring at approximately 10 minutes per student per week.
  • Provide documentation and behavioral supports, including 1:1 support aligned with direct service time.
  • Participate in evaluations and annual reviews and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services.
  • Collaborate with school staff and educational teams to support students’ academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and IEP-related needs.

Requirements
Education

  • Required: Degree in Social Work or related field consistent with Colorado Department of Education licensing requirements.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE)-issued special service provider license with a Social Work endorsement.

Skills

  • Ability to provide effective direct and indirect services in a school-based setting.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to support students across both classroom and targeted intervention settings.
  • Knowledge of IEP implementation, progress monitoring, behavioral supports, evaluations, and annual review processes.
