Full job description

Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Crew Supervisor II to join their team. As a Crew Supervisor II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting electrical, mechanical, and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Crew Supervisor II

Location: Alcoa, TN

Pay Range: $32 - 35/hr

Shift: Days, Nights (42 hour)

What's the Job?

  • Supervise electrical craft, mechanical craft, and production employees within the department, providing maintenance guidance and support.
  • Offer technical maintenance support for assigned areas, troubleshooting issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Coordinate repairs with customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and engage in safety, quality, and process enhancements.
  • Respond to critical maintenance situations on-call, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on production.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience within an industrial environment.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and PLC troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights, on a 2/3/3/2 pattern.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Oracle software applications.
