The Assistant Nurse Manager for the Operating Room is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse leader to help shape the future of perioperative services, support a high-performing team, and drive excellence in surgical care.

In this role, you'll work alongside the Nurse Manager to lead the daily operations of a dynamic Operating Room environment, serving as both a clinical expert and a leader. You'll play a key role in mentoring and developing staff, ensuring quality and patient safety standards are met, supporting regulatory readiness, and helping create an environment where both patients and team members thrive.

This position offers the opportunity to influence department strategy, champion evidence-based practice, and lead initiatives that improve patient outcomes and staff engagement. You'll be instrumental in onboarding and developing nurses, fostering professional growth, supporting quality improvement efforts, and guiding teams through change while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

$49.24 - $73.86 per hour, depending on experience

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience

Minimum Required

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Up to three (3) years of Nursing experience
• Up to three (3) years of directly related experience

Preferred

• Masters in Nursing

License and/or Certification

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
