Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Murray, KY working in an outpatient clinic where you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and support patients returning to community activities. This role requires clinical reasoning, timely documentation, and adherence to physician orders and regulatory guidelines. You will participate in student learning as assigned and pursue professional development to meet performance objectives. Please review the minimum qualifications below before applying.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. No new graduates. Must have outpatient experience as a licensed clinician. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document to payer and clinic standards, and write functional goals and letters of medical necessity. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Kentucky Practice Act.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in outpatient clinic settings with evidence of proficiency in functional treatment programs and safe patient handling. Prior experience supervising or mentoring students. Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and electronic medical record documentation for outpatient therapy.
Assignment Details Shift pattern: 5x8.
