Position Overview:
NISC is looking for a Service Product Requirements Analyst. This role is expected to collaborate with software developers/engineers, system engineers, quality engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical requirements. You will be responsible for planning and directing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of NISC’s iVUE/IVC software applications.
Essential Duties:
- Elicit, research, and validate medium to high complexity product and, or project requirements with cross-functional project teams
- Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude) to conduct requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation, ensuring efficient and consistent development of high-quality requirements artifacts
- Partner with product management to create project use cases and user stories
- Partner with UX Designer to facilitate stakeholder interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, and scenarios
- Provide direction and leadership on requirements to internal stakeholders
- Facilitate and lead internal stakeholder meetings to develop technical product requirements
- Serve as a resource for developer and QE questions on the intended project specification during development and testing
- Coordinate and manage work with SME’s in the software development life cycle
- Participate in the ongoing support and improvement of NISC’s software development lifecycle
- Champion requirements best practices and processes across the company
- Assist with training to co-workers as assigned. Serve as mentor to team members

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
- 5+ years of related experience preferred. Moderate-level knowledge or experience in the Broadband industry strongly preferred.
- Required proficiency using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude) to support requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Excellent research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate level knowledge of requirements best practices
- Moderate knowledge level of business-related software applications and services
- Excellent ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to communicate effectively with member/customers
- Working level knowledge of project management processes and theories
- Working level knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycles
- Working level knowledge of service APIs and database design
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to quickly understand new software tools & industry knowledge
- Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position
- Working ability to mentor others
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
