- The Team: A team of operators defining the future of AI infrastructure. We recruit A-players from the most innovative companies in the world, and they choose Giga because the work here means more.
- The Moment: AI doesn't run without power, and that's us. Giga is the picks and shovels behind the AI revolution. This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.
What You'll Do
As a People Operations Generalist, you'll partner closely with the People Operations Manager to drive the day-to-day execution of our People Operations function while helping build scalable systems, processes, and programs that support our growing team.
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for employee support, helping deliver an exceptional employee experience across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and benefits administration to HR operations and People programs. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating structure, and making things run better every day.
You'll have a front-row seat to the People Operations function at Giga, helping shape the systems, processes, and employee experience that will support our next phase of growth.
Success in this role means creating an exceptional employee experience through operational excellence, while enabling the People Ops Manager to focus on building scalable programs, partnering with leaders, and driving the long-term strategy of the People Operations function.
Where you'll work
This is a Houston-based role. We are an in-office culture—velocity matters when you're building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. You'll work onsite full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays.
You'll also travel periodically to our transformer manufacturing facility during onboarding weeks to co-facilitate Giga's two-day new hire onboarding program and give employees a firsthand understanding of how Giga builds the infrastructure powering AI.

Who we hire
We hire people who thrive in chaos and get sharper under pressure. You don't wait to be told what to do, you spot the gap and fill it. When there's work to be done, you do it. You make decisions with the information you have, move fast, and adjust along the way. We're not looking for perfect; we're looking for people who get things done.
