JOB DESCRIPTION:
The NDT Technician II performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company's quality system, specifications, and customer requirements. Non-destructive testing disciplines include Florescent Penetrant, Radiography (X-Ray), Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Inspections.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:
• NDT Level II Certification in at least one NDT method (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET)
• Able to stand 75% of workday and lift to 35lbs as required
• 2-4 year's general work history
• One (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Read, speak, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software
• Read and interpret various types of precision measurement equipment
• Read and interpret specifications, drawings, Engine Service/Repair Manuals, customer & regulatory specifications
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.
